people of the Gaara fandom! i present to you the Summer contest to welcome the new season! the theme can be whatever events from whatever cultures/religions you celebrate during summer involving Gaara. feel free to add other characters of your choosing, as long as Gaara is incorporated in it then its free game! also we will be accepting poems, short stories, drawings, paintings, etc etc. the contest shall go from now (06/21/14) to 07/23/14.
Submissions
each member can contribute one piece of work to the contest. please send your entry via link to this journal or sending me
a note with a link to said work.
Voting process
every member can vote in the following journal that i will label 'Voting for Summer'. one vote per person and they can be posted on that journal or sent to me by note.
Determining the winner(s)
if there are obviously more votes for one person over the rest then they win; however if there is a two/three/four way tie then there is to be another round of voting and everyone starts fresh on votes and they may choose from any of the tied members involved in the contest. any questions, by all means ask 'em. if the secondary voting process ends with another tie then those who are tied get prizes.

HOW VOTING WILL WORK
everyone gets one vote to use. feel free to vote for yourselves or others. the plan is to keep the journal open for all voters till the date of February 15. if we come across a tie i will allow everyone to vote again between the top two artworks. the window, if that does occur, will only be one week of the secondary votes.

Hello all Gaara loving fanatics out there! :)
Firstly, we have created a new folder for sketches, linearts, wips, and generally non-colored art relating to Gaara <3
We have noticed pencil sketches and doodles are some of the most frequently submitted fanart, so much so... it was beginning to swamp most of the folders.. and the colored work was becoming difficult to find.
We still accept them, but only to this folder now.
Secondly, it's come to our attention as we spent hours wading through our galleries... that a lot of you must be confused as to where to submit.
